Biography

Jacqueline Hengl studied history in her native country France as well as international relations in Washington und and at the SAIS Bologna in Italy. She lived in South America, Portugal, Austria and Israel accompanying her husband on diplomatic postings.International publications show her interest in Art, history and archeology: Glazed-tile panels in the 20th century, Scenes of portuguese life, Lisboa 1987, cultural and social ties between Mexican emigrants in Los Angeles and their community of origin in Nayarit, Mexico.
Her professional experiences include her activities at the École Biblique in Jerusalem as well as her presidency of the Foreign Affairs Spouses Association (Club der Angehörigen) of the Austrian foreign ministry.

Jacqueline Hengl looks after artists and ensembles of K und K Wien and takes care of translations of biographies, press material and libretti.
